Tip of the Day - how to peel lots of garlic fast
In honour of National Garlic Day, I thought it would be the perfect to share this tip I found on how to peel lots of garlic at one time. First break the bulb into cloves then all them all to a large tuperware bowl and put the lid on. Now shake, shake it hard. And peek inside after a minute and look most are unpeeled, you can take those ones out and put the lid back on and keep shaking. Much faster then doing them one at a time. Now that you have all these peeled garlic you can make some yummy garlic infused oil (when I made I chopped the garlic and added a bit of salt). It’s so yummy as a base for pizza or on pasta.
