Tip of the Day - Use baby powder to remove sand

So today’s tip of the day is to use baby powder to remove wet sand from your feet. It seriously works great. I have a mini baby powder container in my purse that I bring to the park and beach in case of wet sandy feet. The baby powder takes the moisture away so the sand just falls off. At our old house we had a sand box in the backyard so I left a large container by the back door so the kids could clean up before they came in - they often made a mess with the baby powder outside but it washes away and I’d rather have baby powder in my house then sand.

Also last year when we went camping we brought some baby powder with us and it works great after a day at the beach when you have sand all over (if you know what I mean) and it dries up that sand too. It makes for a much more comfortable weekend.

So make sure you keep a small baby powder around for sand emergencies.
