Create a bright art wall
Do you ever wonder what to do with all the art your kids make or that you have around - well I put them all up on one wall and it looks awesome. In my daughter’s room I decided to create an art wall and hung up a collection of art that she created as well as other pieces we had. I love how bright and fun it looks.
Most of the art that I hung is my daughter’s that I framed in dollar store frames or thrifted like the gold round one. I didn’t have enough frames for everything so I mounted some on scrapbooking paper which is an inexpensive way to create a faux frame to a piece of art. I did also hang up 3 Keith Harring prints that are from an old art calendar and the melted crayon canvas I made a few years back. I really like how it all turned out. I was going to continue the art on the other wall but thought I’d leave it for now which is good since she’s coming home with new art work now that she wants to put up.
So next time when you can’t find a big enough piece to put up on your wall try putting a bunch of smaller pieces to fill the space.
