Toilet Paper Roll Snowflakes

Last year we made these really pretty snowflakes from toilet paper rolls.

These were so much fun to make – it was an exciting Friday night for girls and I. And they are super easy to make.

Start with some toilet paper rolls and fold in half and cut into 1/2″ to 3/4″ pieces – then play with them. We cut them in half and rolled them and just put them in all kinds of fun patterns. Once the girls figured out the design they wanted I glued them together using a low heat glue gun. They turned out so pretty – the white ones and the brown ones.

Then to make them look more like snowflakes we added glitter. Using white glue we painted it on the edges and then sprinkled glitter on. Once dry I sprayed them with hair spray to fix the glitter so it doesn’t fall off as easily. We hung them in the window using a curtain rod and some fishing line thread to make it look like the snowflakes are floating.

They are a fun and easy craft that you should try this weekend :)
