christmas kids crafts
Here’s a round up of a few of the holiday crafts we have made over the years.
The top left corner is an ornament made from Perler (melting beads). My girls made a bunch of designs through out the year and didn’t know what to do with them. So here all I did was take one of them and hot glue a ribbon to the top.
Below that are jingle bell bracelets. Lilo made these for all her friends at school one year. It’s just a pipe cleaner with a bell and beads. Super simple but fun for young kids.
The Santa is made from a toilet paper roll. Lilo had this herself this year and I just helped her hot glue it together since white glue and glue stick wasn’t working.
The bottom row on the left are wreath frames we made from 2 paper plates. I cut out the centre of one plate and the kids decorated it. Then we added a picture in the middle and glued the 2 plates together.
These last two the kids made at daycare. The wreath is also made from a paper plate with the kids hand cut outs glued around it.
And the last one I think turned out super cute. It’s a pine cone glued to a cardboard base that has been covered with cotton balls. Then a little string of beads is glued around it, with a star on top. And lastly from fake snow sprinkled over top.
I would love to see and hear what Christmas crafts you’re doing with the kids this year. Happy crafting.
