Recipe Favourite - Red Lobster Biscuits

Red-Lobster-Biscuits-from-VoneInspiredWhen I got married one of the best gifts we received was from a family friend - it was a binder full of recipes. She had collected recipes from all our family friends and printed them all out and put them together in an organized cook book. I love that I have yummy recipes that I remember eating at pot lucks as a kid. One of the recipes in this book was this recipe for Red Lobster’s Cheese Garlic Biscuits. This recipes is so easy and tastes exactly like the real biscuits from the restaurant. I’ve been meaning to share this recipe for awhile so here goes.

2 cups Bisquick baking mix

2/3 cups milk

1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup butter, melted

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

 

1. Mix baking mix, milk and cheese until soft dough is formed. Beat vigorously for 30 seconds.

2. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

3. Bake at 450 F. Oven for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.

4. Mix butter and garlic powder, brush over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet.

Serve warm.

Yield: 12 biscuits

They are seriously deliciously and if you happen to have a few left they can be re-heated in the microwave for a few seconds.
