Making art with nature

On July 11, 2013 by voneinspired

A simple craft that wasn’t what we planned but turned out pretty cute and fun. We first went on a hike through the forest by our house and started collecting some leaves, sticks, acorns and other cool nature stuff thinking we could glue them together to make dragon flies and butterflies. When we got home and started arranging things the leaves were wilting and it just wasn’t working out the way we thought. So we just started playing with our collection of nature finds and made fun pictures and took photos of them. It was fun coming up with things and seeing what the kids came up with too.

It’s a great craft to do anywhere, you could do it at a park, and it would be a great camping craft - no supplies necessary. And with instant photos now we can keep these crafts even if they won’t last.
