Countdown To Summer

It’s hard to believe that my kids only have 15 more days of school left before summer holidays. This year has definitely gone by fast.

To keep the kids entertained these last weeks we made up a countdown craft. We’ve made a few in the past and my kids never like to do the same thing twice so we came up with an idea to make a back pack and as we count down we remove stuff from the back pack.

It was fun coming up with all the things to put in our back pack - we came up with pencils, eraser, pencil sharpener, books, lunch bag, apple, sandwich, water bottle, ruler, calculator, shoe, soccer ball, Lilo’s agenda and Isla’s mailbag.

So each day they get to take something else out of their back pack until it’s empty and it’s summer time. We’re looking forward to a fun summer.
