Muffin Tin Monday - Beach Picnic Snack

A few years ago I was introduced to making Muffin Tin meals for the kids from a fun blog - Muffin Tin Mom. The whole idea of the muffin tin meals is to serve up a meal, snack or dessert in a muffin tin. It’s a fun way to try new foods with your kids and come up with something creative or just use up some leftovers.

There’s one of the fun muffin tin snack we did this summer. We wanted a picnic on the beach so I surprised the kids with a super yummy snack of marshmallows, that we added some peanut butter and then dipped into an assortment of treats: rainbow flower sprinkles, white snowflake sprinkles, white chocolate chips, chocolate chips, skor bits, and craisins.

They were super yummy and a little messy. The chocolate chips were milk chocolate so they melted in the hot sun but that made another tasty dipping option.
